Job Description

AIS Commercial Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our Project Management and Field Operations teams on commercial construction projects throughout Utah.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial construction and project management. The Project Engineer will assist with project documentation, coordination, communication, scheduling, field verification, and construction management software administration.

AIS has been serving Utah since 1980 and has completed more than 3,000 commercial construction projects including office tenant improvements, healthcare facilities, retail spaces, restaurants, airport projects, and occupied renovations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration
• Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Prepare and distribute submittals
• Maintain project documentation and logs
• Assist with change order documentation and pricing requests
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Perform site visits to document progress and identify issues
• Assist with project scheduling and milestone tracking
• Manage construction documents within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Autodesk Build
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Assist with project closeout documentation and warranties
• Support superintendents and field personnel as needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• Commercial construction experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Autodesk Build, Procore, or similar construction management software preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

AIS Commercial Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team.

AIS has been serving Utah since 1980 and has completed more than 3,000 commercial projects throughout the state. We specialize in interior tenant improvements, remodels, office spaces, restaurants, retail, airport projects, healthcare facilities, and occupied renovations.

We are looking for a motivated, dependable superintendent who takes pride in quality workmanship, communication, scheduling, and leading subcontractors in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain project schedules and milestone dates
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce safety requirements
• Review plans and specifications
• Coordinate inspections and quality control
• Communicate with project managers, owners, architects, and tenants
• Track project progress and provide updates
• Maintain clean and organized jobsites
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience preferred
• Experience with tenant improvement and interior finish projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Self-motivated and organized
• Computer and smartphone proficiency
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
